These “green” versions usually spotlight small positives like a bit of recycled content or nice-looking natural packaging. Unfortunately it conveniently ignores the bigger picture: the batteries, motors, and virgin plastics that create most of the environmental harm. As a result, many people end up thinking they’re making a truly sustainable choice when they’re really not.
